It is a biological process affecting women’s hormonal systems which occur for women aged 40 to 60 years old. In this situation, women undergo hormonal, physical and mental upheavals. The visible symptoms do not manifest in all women though.
Hot flashes, vaginal dryness, mood swings, changes in sex drive, backaches, these are among the most felt and seen symptoms of menopause. From 55 to 65% of women undergoing menopause experience these symptoms.

In India and in many parts of Asia, yoga is used as a means to attain spiritual enlightenment. The word yoga in original Sanskrit language means to control, to join, or to unite.

It is inevitable that you will gain weight during your pregnancy because you are eating for you and your baby. Not to mention you will gain as your baby develops and grows. The normal weight gain for pregnant women is 25 to 35 pounds. This is just an average range so don’t be afraid if you gain more or less than that.
The importance is to stay fit and healthy during the nine months you are carrying your baby or babies. You don’t want to do anything too strenuous or start a diet or follow a fad diet to keep weight gain down. Here are some ways to stay fit and healthy during your pregnancy.
Eating healthy meals is important because you are providing nourishment for your baby. Don’t cut back on calories because you are afraid of weight gain. Pregnant women should add 200 to 300 calories to their daily intake.
The quality of the foods you eat is just as important as the quantity. Eat organic foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals which will give you energy and nourishment. It is acceptable to give into cravings, but eat sweet treats or generally unhealthy foods in moderation.
To stay in shape and minimize too much weight gain you should exercise regularly. Find an exercise routine that you are comfortable with and one where you won’t overexert yourself. Read the rest of this entry »

There is no worse feeling that a person can have than that of anxiety. It can be a very debilitating condition that can take over a person’s life very quickly if they do not learn how to treat it.
Here we will take a peek at some things that people can do to help themselves learn how to treat anxiety on their own. This may work for some, but there are times that you may need the help of a professional.
Breathing techniques are one way that people try to calm the body’s reactions to the triggers of an anxiety attack. Doing some deep breathing can be an easy form of relief for some people as long as they make sure that they perform the exercises properly. Rushing through them will not help you in the least.
Exercise is another thing that people have tried, and some have found that it too can be a huge help when learning how to treat anxiety. Try stretching exercises or Yoga as these are ways that help the body and the mind relax and focus on other things than what is happening. This can be the best way to calm yourself down which in turn can prevent matters from getting any worse than they are.
Other people have found that there is a lot of truth in the claims that come with regards to the relaxing qualities of herbal remedies. Do you ever get the painful, mind-boggling effects of a horrible headache? Well, it’s the most common type of irritation. The headache can be caused by a number of things. I’m not sure why exactly they occur as far as biology and medicine goes, I just know that they are common, annoying, and super prevalent. Here is a list of things that can cause one of those horribly painful headaches that make you want to end your suffering for good.
1. Staring at a computer screen all day under fluorescent lighting.
2. A Train Horn being honked within 10-15 feet of you.
3. Reading all day.
4. Writing all day.
5. Playing too much video games.
6. Watching too much television.
7. Talking too much on your cell phone or falling asleep on the phone.

There are number of people in this world who are not satisfied and happy with their height and they even feel shy to walk with the tall person or even stand with a tall person and have even lost the courage that they can ever grow tall. Doing yoga is definitely helpful to let your body grow in a correct manner. The major thing of doing is that it involves none of the side effects at all. The best thing is that you can perform yoga at your home, in a little space as per it is suitable to you. Go slowly and steadily with some comfortable postures before you being with yoga. If you straightforwardly being with the tricky postures at the first stage it may injure your body.
