    Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs & More I subscribe to 3 naturopathic papers plus Consumer Reports ‘On Health’ for balance. This book does a very thorough job of pulling it all together in an easily read guide. I bought it to get a concise guideline for how much of each nutrient is needed for what purpose. It gives that along with precautions. Money well-spent.

    Very inclusive book This book is perfect for someone who wants to make sure they are eating the correct vitamins and minerals. It lists the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids essential for making proteins. It lists which foods you can find these in, and what the specified vitamin/mineral does for the body. It is a very good reference book and I highly recommend it, especially for the beginner or for someone who has been wanting to eat a more healthy, complete diet, and they just don’t know where to start. Although it does not include everything, it is a book that I will always turn to for a quick and easy reference. I think that everyone who is interested in improving the quality of their diet should consider gettig this book. It is laid out very straight forward, very well organized, very informative. Five Stars.

    Interesting information This is an interesting view on looking at alternative medicine to improve one’s overall health and well being. Not always Western medicine has all the options available and there are so many different vitamins, minerals and herbs this helps to look at what is out there. It does not include everything but it is a good start.
