I was doing a little research on this today because of a comment my son made about tofu. Now most of the dating of the research seems to go back 5-7 years. If this information was known about the adverse effects on babies, then why was something not done . It seems to me that the Pediatricians should have been on top of this.
I have heard that the fermented products, miso and tempeh are better for some reason.
also in the state of Florida they give good Start milk based formula. so it appears that some states are doing their research.
I believe that WIC is a federally funded program, and that what is happening in florida is what is representative throughout the rest of the country.
