The Most Common Types of Acne
Whiteheads and blackheads are the most common types of acne. As their names suggest whiteheads are white and blackheads come in black spots. So while blackheads are generally easily to spot in fair skin, whiteheads are pretty obvious in darker skin. Both are caused by sebum, dead skin cells and bacteria. However, among the two blackheads are very difficult to remove. Meanwhile the whiteheads are easy to pop.
What happens is as oxygen enters the pores of the skin melanin in the skin reacts to it thus causing the formation of blackheads. To get rid of them you would have to pull them out from the roots. On the other hand, white heads need to be popped correctly if you don’t want an infection.
Rosacea Fulminans versus Acne Rosacea
Women aging from 20 to 40 years old you are prone to this type of acne. It generally affects the same areas which Acne Rosacea affects. These are typically whiteheads and pimples that turn to sores and large nodules. It should be treated properly if you want to avoid scars. However, you should treat Rosacea Fulminans at its early signs because it spreads rapidly like fire. The only consolation you have is it stays for a shorter span of time.
