Nutrition became a big concern for me when I started taking serious adult ballet classes at 29 years old and at first could not keep up with people who were much older. Vitamins helped so much that I started researching additional ways to improve performance and stamina, ways to lose weight, and so on.
That led to some amazing sports medicine research, including hypnosis and visualization for improving speed and skill. The interaction of all the factors involved in health is important. Often we need to improve a number of things in order to feel better.
Keeping up with the latest health news can be time-consuming, since it is rarely to be found in one place. Mainstream media spend relatively little time on health issues and fitness issues, and they scarcely touch on alternative therapies, relaxation, and nutritional supplements at all.
Furthermore, they almost never talk about the political and legal issues that can be crucial to retaining our access to alternative therapies, herbs, massage, vitamins and other nutritional supplements, which are constantly threatened by pharmaceutical company lobbying.
This new blog is about bringing together as much new information as possible about health, longevity, fitness, weight loss and important medical breakthroughs in one place. I hope you like it.
