Kathleen Gresham, fearless explorer of alternative healing and nutrition.

Nutrition became a big concern for me when I started taking serious adult ballet classes at 29 years old and at first could not keep up with people who were much older. Vitamins helped so much that I started researching additional ways to improve performance and stamina, ways to lose weight, and so on.

That led to some amazing sports medicine research, including hypnosis and visualization for improving speed and skill. The interaction of all the factors involved in health is important. Often we need to improve a number of things in order to feel better.

Keeping up with the latest health news can be time-consuming, since it is rarely to be found in one place. Mainstream media spend relatively little time on health issues and fitness issues, and they scarcely touch on alternative therapies, relaxation, and nutritional supplements at all.

Furthermore, they almost never talk about the political and legal issues that can be crucial to retaining our access to alternative therapies, herbs, massage, vitamins and other nutritional supplements, which are constantly threatened by pharmaceutical company lobbying.

This new blog is about bringing together as much new information as possible about health, longevity, fitness, weight loss and important medical breakthroughs in one place. I hope you like it.

As I have time, I’ll add more resource pages on the various topics. Those will appear under the Pages hierarchy as they are added.

Your comments are welcome and will be important in selecting additional content for this brand new site. So please speak up. This site is just getting started, and you can help shape it.

Health news is vital for all of us, and some of it can be quite controversial. I hope to make this site a place to discuss health news and issues. Eventually we will have a forum to make discussion easier.

Well wishes,

Kathleen Gresham

Thought you’d like to hear about a great new resource to help Americans get off prescription drugs and into complementary and alternative medicine. UnBreak Your Health – The Complete Guide to Complementary & Alternative Therapies (Loving Healing Press 2007) is currently featured in Well Being Journal’s March/April issue. It was awarded Finalist in this year’s Best Books Awards for the Health/Alternative Medicine category.

UnBreak Your Health has 300+ listings in 136 categories, testimonials and some of the most interesting recent scientific discoveries. It’s the place to begin a journey of healing. It’s also the book I wish had been available a few years ago following my disappointing trip to the Mayo Clinic. There is additional information including reviews and interviews at http://www.unbreakyourhealth.com.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

I was reviewing your great site and I’m interested in doing a link exchange with you. As you probably know, the more incoming one way links you have, the better your search engine recognition/optimization becomes. I’m hoping that I can add your link to our company blog at http://www.coolnewsforwomen.blogspot.com and then you will be able to add our website http://www.cool-jams.com as a link on your blog.

The title of my link should be “Cool-jams-Wicking Sleepwear for Night Sweats and Hot Flashes” and the URL can be http://www.cool-jams.com

What is my Cool-jams site about?…
We design and market an innovative collection of moisture wicking, quick dry sleepwear which help to combat night sweats . Our sleepwear is made from our own moisture wicking smart fabric which seems to sense what you need to stay cool and dry at night.

Our Cool News For Women blog discusses health and life issues important to women. Content includes info about nutrition, aging, night sweats, menopause, how to improve your memory, hormone replacement therapy and much more.

Are you interested in exchanging links? If so I can add you to my blog site roll and/or we can exchange articles from each other’s blogs so there is a link back to each respective site. Hello Kathleen,

Did you know that one in three women will get cancer in her lifetime and that nearly 50% of those cancers could be prevented if women took steps towards a healthier lifestyle, including skin protection and early detection?

This summer more than ever, it’s important for women to protect their skin from the sun and no one knows this better than a local Houston resident, Julie. Julie has an interesting story I’d like to share with you. If you could please contact me at the e-mail provided I’d love to discuss this inspiring story.

    Best,
    Kaitlyn
